Dark Side of the Web

The presentation of the RSS feeds was excellent. I really appriciated the "how to" on how to use Microsoft explorer's phishing filter. I feel much safer using the internet now.

Health Saftey and Wellness

While it looks like I'm a little too late to sign up for the Health and Wellness program, I can't wait to attend the 2009 OCLS health fair. I am really interested in attending the program on
June 16:Stress and Life Balance.

Life Long Learning 2.0

I really liked:

HowStuffWorks and eHow. I think they were really informative!

I also really enjoyed the intro video for this session. That documentary looks reallly interesting!

Web 2.0

I searched the 2.0 awards and found two of my favorites!

I've just started on Twitter and I can wait to play a little bit more with it.

I love lastfm. The fact that they offer the full song on most music instead of just a 30 second sound clip is great!

The area that I feel that OCLS needs to work on is to keep connected with the public. There are so many patrons who for example that don't know about our MAYL system. I feel that OCLS to better ourselves as a community organization should promote to the community more; through media, and outreaches to the general public.
